March 2022 DBTC Ride Schedule
Wednesday Mar, 2nd
12:00 FUN PLUS H-2-28 Miles SW Meet Peter Woulfe([540-219-6674](tel:540-219-6674)) cell at the west end of the parking lot for the Broken Tee Golf Course (2101 W. Oxford, Englewood 80110). We will ride the South Platte to Chatfield State Park, up the dam over to the marina. After a break we will return the same way. Wheels roll at 12:00.
Sunday Mar, 13th
12:00 PM FUN PLUS/INT - H1 26 Miles N. Meet Peter Woulfe (540-219-6674) at Twin Lakes Park, 300 West 70th (just west of Broadway). Ride east along Clear Creek and then north along the South Platte River to Riverdale Park (Adams County FairGrounds). Then return the same way. Remember the time change, WHEELS roll at 12:00.
Monday Mar, 14th
12:00PM FUN-H1-15 Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517 9781) at the Wheat Recreation Center (39th & Kipling, north side of east parking lot) for a ride to Sloans Lake. We will ride the Clear Creek Trail, as well as bike-friendly streets in Wheat Ridge to Sloans Lake where we will ride around the lake before taking a break. We will return on 20th and 26th avenues to Crown Hill Park before riding through neighborhoods back to the start.
Tuesday Mar, 15th
12:00 PM FUNPLUS-H2-25-S. CLEMENT PARK LOOP. Meet Peter Woulfe (540-=219-6674) in the West Parking Lot behind the library. We will ride some trails and streets out to C-470, then on C-470 Trail to Chatfield State Park. We will return via the Platte River Drive Trail through the Columbine Valley neighborhood. This is an exploratory ride so let’s get lost together. The mileage is a guess maybe 20 to 30.
Thursday Mar, 24th
12:00 FUN PLUS H-2-20 SW Meet Peter Woulfe (540-219-6674) cell at the west end of the parking lot for the Broken Tee Golf Course (2101 W. Oxford, Englewood 80110). We will ride the South Platte to Chatfield State Park, up the dam. We will ride the paved part of the dam, then return via C-470 and the South Platte Trail.
Saturday Mar, 26th
12:00PM FUN-PLUS/INT-H2-21-NW Meet Peter Woulfe(540-219-6674), at the Wheat Ridge Rec Center in Wheat Ridge, 41st & Kipling., far north end parking lot nearest Kipling Street. We will ride west on Clear Creek Trail to McIntyre, then on to the Ralston Creek, Blunn, and Van Bibber Trails, a few streets to Easley and then back to the Clear Creek Trail and return.
Monday Mar, 28th
11:00 FUN-H1-20-NW Meet Merri Bruntz (303-517-9781) at the Wheat Ridge Rec Center (39th & Kipling, north side of east parking lot) for a ride on the Clear Creek Trail to Twin Lakes Park. After a break we will return via the same route.
11 AM- FUN-PLUS- H1/2- 24-SE Meet Wes Frederick (303-520-7516) at Parker Rec Center (17301 Lincoln Ave. Parker 80134). We will take the Cherry Creek trail north for a lap around Cherry Creek Reservoir and return via the same route.
