The Out of Town Tour committee will establish a calendar for out
of town trips that are 1 week or longer on a first come, first served basis.
Trips will be scheduled if they do not compete with one another.
Trips are considered to be competing if they fit both of these criteria:
- They are within 1 month (4 weeks) of one another
- They are similarly priced
Similarly priced means their daily costs are 50-100% of one other.
For example, a trip that costs $50/day is considered to be similarly
priced to one that costs $100/day, but one costing $25/day and
one costing $100/day would not be considered similarly priced.
This policy allows camping trips to be scheduled in a similar time
frame to hotel-based trips, and also allows weekend trips to be
scheduled close to week long trips.
Leaders are requested to propose only trips which do
not compete with other scheduled trips.
