Once again, make your plans to join DBTC mountain bike riders
for the spring desert extravaganza! Hike, bike, or sightsee as you wish. Plan to
leave Denver Sat 5/12 morning and return Mon 5/14 afternoon. Camping is possible
in the Colorado National Monument. Motel accommodations are also available for
your own option.
Three intermediate rides are planned. These rides will offer scenic views, high
above the Colorado River and Grand Valley.
The 1:00 PM Saturday afternoon ride will be the Mary's -Horsethief
bench-Steves mtb loop.
Note that this is the start for the famous Kokopelli trail!
Sunday the ride will be at Rabbit Valley.
Monday finish with a "road ride" on winding pavement looping 33 miles completely through the Colorado National Monument! Or optionally go for another day of trail riding at Chutes and Ladders off Road 18. Return to Denver later with your batteries charged.
