Friday, June 1st: 

9:00 AM FUN PLUS (12-15 mph pace)-H2-18 NW “Golden Triangle* Progressive (lollipop) Loop 1 of 3”  Meet ride leader, Marilyn Choske (303-905-8510), at Anderson Park in Wheat Ridge, 44th & Field St., back parking lot.  Ride west on Clear Creek Trail (CCT) to Golden, connect to Tucker Gulch west to Hwy 93, south on bike path to Washington St with Starbucks stop for beverages.  Loop back to CCT and east to Anderson Park.  Some short hill climbs.  12-15 mph pace.  Elev gain: +742’  *Golden Triangle is Wheat Ridge, Golden, Arvada. 

9:30 AM FUN-H2-28 SE Meet Ellen Fitzpatrick (720-209-2269) at the Southeast corner of Parker Road and Orchard in Aurora near the Benjamin Moore shop. We will ride on the Piney Creek Trail east and connect onto various trails out to Aurora Reservoir. We will loop the 8 miles around the reservoir and return back to our start. Let’s have lunch after, to be determined.


Saturday, June 2nd: 

9:30 AM FUN PLUS-H2to3-25 SW Meet Patty Gaspar 303-618-5069 behind the tennis bubble, W Bowles & S Federal in Littleton, ride the Platte River Trail to Chatfield then east on C-470 Trail for a mostly gentle climb then across on Clarkson with a great downhill to Big Dry Creek to finish the loop. Lunch afterwards is at one of the nearby eateries. 

10:00 AM MTB, P3, T2.5, Pine Valley Ranch – Meet Alison Preble (720-854-9923, ajbikes@yahoo. com) at the Pine Valley Ranch Trailhead parking lot for a ride of loops and ups and downs in the trees and used-to-be trees in this Jeffco open space park southwest of Denver. DIRECTIONS: Take Highway 285 (Hampden Avenue) south to Pine Junction. Turn left (southeast) onto Pine Valley Road (County Road 126) and travel approx. 6 miles on County Road 126, to entrance road to Pine Valley Ranch on your right. Follow the entrance road into to the park and parking lot (30400 Crystal Lake Road). Ride start is at the west end of the lowest parking lot next to the restrooms. Parking lot picnic after ride. Please bring something to share and a camping chair if you have one.


Sunday, June 3rd: 

9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H3-24 NW - Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) for this fairly new ride, THE HIDDEN GEMS OF INTERLOCKEN! The adventure begins at the Safeway at the Rock Creek Village Shopping Center in Superior.  We will take secret trails and use portions of the new HWY 36 Trail to take us on a loop that includes the hidden gems of Flatirons Mall, Interlocken, Standley Lake, and Rock Creek Village!  Rock Creek Village Safeway is centrally located in Superior at the NW corner of Coalton and Rock Creek Parkway (Address is 1601 Coalton Road Superior, CO. 80027.) The ride is mostly on paved trails but there are a couple of quarter-mile segments of lightly-graveled well-kept, un-paved trails.

Monday, June 4th: 

5:30 PM INT-H3-18 SW. Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) for THE MINI GREAT AMERICAN DINOSAUR RIDE 2018!!! The adventure begins at the Gas Station Parking Lot at Morrison and Rooney Road (16283 Morrison Road).  We will tour Bear Creek Park and then head north on a new trail to Dinosaur Ridge and Red Rocks where we will stop for breaks.  We will then continue on down through Morrison and return to the parking lot.  The first 100 attendees will ride for free!!!


Tuesday, June 5th: 

9:15AM FUN–H2–22-ish–NE -- Meet Lise Neer (303-249-8621) at Cake Crumbs bakery (2216 Kearney St. in Park Hill). Ride will either go south on Krameria Street to the Cherry Creek trail, then southeast to join the Highline and loop back around Lowry (either thru Fairmount Cem. or farther East) and return to Park Hill along 17th Ave., part of which is newly paved!  OR: we’ll ride East to Stapleton, south to Lowry and get on the Highline Canal Trail until we hit the Cherry Creek trail. We may ride all the way downtown to REI for a snack stop, or head back north to Park Hill via Krameria or Steele St.  (Ride route & length will vary depending on the group’s whims.)  Optional lunch afterward at Cake Crumbs, or the Chop Shop at Colfax & Elm.  Come early for coffee, and be ready to ride by 9:15 sharp.


10:30 AM, MTB, P2, T2, Staunton State Park -- THE RIDE: Meet Steve Thomas (303-419-2531) for a ride on the Staunton State Park trails. The ride will be approx. 13 miles with some extended climbing and a few technical downhill areas.  THE TIME: Meet at the lower parking lot (go right immediately after going through the entrance booth) at 10:30AM.  THE DIRECTIONS: Go west on Hwy 285 past Conifer to S. Elk Creek. Exit S. Elk Creek and go right approx. 1.3 miles to the turnoff, on the right, to the park.  THE FOOD: Bring snacks, drinks and chairs for after the ride at the park.


Wednesday, June 6th:
 
 

9:00 AM FUN-H2-30  SE Come join Les Avery 720-219-5274. Meet at 9:00 at Trails Recreation Center. Take Parker Road to Buckley, turn right and then immediate right on East Lakes Road to the entrance center. Lunch at the reservoir - there is a snack shop or bring your own. Note: Les was a long-time member but took a hiatus and is back with the club. WELCOME BACK LES.

9:00 AM Leisure  H2-17 SW.  Lee Gulch Loop.  Meet Jill McMahon (303 888-0314 cell) at the SE Corner of the Aspen Grove Shopping Center parking lot near Pier One.  Aspen Grove is on Santa Fe Drive just north of Mineral Ave.  This is a loop ride on the Platte River Trail, the Big Dry Creek Trail, the Highline Trail and the Lee Gulch Trail. It winds around some very pretty areas - mostly on paved trails but some hard gravel and a short distance on residential streets. There will be an optional lunch afterwards at Panera.  Bring a snack and money for lunch if you plan to join us. 

6:00 PM, MTB P2.5, T2, Green Mountain (Show’nGo) -- Meet at the Florida trailhead, at the top of Alameda Boulevard at the intersection of West Florida Drive and Alameda Boulevard in Lakewood.  


Thursday, June 7th: 

6:00 PM FUN-H1-18-SE Meet Dick Shelton (720-934-9824) at Treads Bicycle Outfitters, 16701 E Iliff Ave, Aurora, 80013.  We’ll ride around Cherry Creek State Park and return to Peak to Peak Brewery for snacks and drinks.


Saturday, June 9th: 

11:00 AM, MTB P3, T2, Colorado Trail at Buffalo Creek -- THE RIDE: Join Jim Black (303-733-7312 or (cell) 303-888-3312) for the classic ride through the trees to the Meadows Campground and back, with an optional loop on the Green Mountain trail. Go to https://comba.org/projects/buffalo-creek for a map of the Buffalo Creek Mountain Bike Area. THE DISTANCE: The entire ride is approximately 17 miles. However, because it is an out and back ride, it can be shortened by simply turning around at any point. There are also many options for anyone who wants to ride additional miles.  THE TIME: 11:00AM (WHEELS ROLLING AT THAT TIME! PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO START AT THAT TIME.)  THE DIRECTIONS: Head west from Denver on U.S. Highway 285 to Pine Junction. Go left (south) on Jefferson County Road 126. Continue south on 126, going through the town of Pine and the hamlet of Buffalo Creek. Travel four+ miles past Buffalo Creek on County Rd 126. Shortly after the crest of a VERY long hill, turn right (west) on Forest Road 550. There is a parking lot on the right, a short distance in from the highway. Note that this is a pay lot. There is also free, though limited, parking along 550 just before the entrance to the parking lot and also in a couple of spots on the left a short way past the parking lot entrance.  THE FOOD: Bring tailgate picnic food and beverages to share post-ride. Also bring folding chairs - and tables - if you have them.

Sunday, June 10th:  

8:00 AM FUN/H3 25+ miles SW Highlands Ranch Mansion Ride at Target Parking Lot Carol Bennett 720-425-6124. Exit C470 at the Lucent off ramp and drive about half a mile south and enter the Target Parking Lot at SSgt Jon Sills Drive and follow the entrance until the south west corner of the Target Parking Lot just north of the Kaiser Building. Meet at the South West Corner of Highlands Ranch Parkway and Lucent Blvd. We will ride the streets and green belts in Highlands Ranch and will back track to the west part of HR and make our way to the north and will continue to the extreme east portion of Highlands Ranch. The route is general at this time and I can add or delete portions of the ride by request of the group. This is a no drop ride. Bring some snacks and plenty of water. There are bathroom stops in most of the parks. I’m hoping for good weather. The group can decide if they wish to stop at a local eatery after the ride.  Keep the shiny side up! Please be there at 0745 to discuss the route.  I will leave at 0800 sharp.  It gets very warm or thunder showers can develop this time of year.


 9:00 AM FUN PLUS-H2-23-NW– Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) for THE HIDDEN GEMS OF ARVADA. We have all experienced the traditional Arvada classics trails of Ralston Creek, Clear Creek, and Van Bibber. Check out this new route instead that explores the Pomona Lakes, the Arvada Firefighters Park and other forgotten areas and is guaranteed to be an adventure! Meet at the SE corner of HWY 36 and 104th at the back side of the Quaker State and Lube Restaurant (10392 Reed St., Westminster, CO) by a hidden entrance to a hidden trail where the adventure will begin (and end). Possible lunch at Quaker State and Lube will follow.

Monday, June 11th:  

8:30 AM FUN PLUS (12-15 mph pace.)-Alt gain 907-23-NW “Golden Triangle* Progressive (bigger lollipop) Loop 2 of 3”  Meet ride leader, Marilyn Choske (303-905-8510), at Anderson Park in Wheat Ridge, 44th & Field St., back parking lot.   Ride west on Clear Creek Trail (CCT) to Golden with possible Starbucks stop, then retrace north on bikepath and Hwy 93 to 58th Ave.  Connect to Ralston Creek Trail (RCT) and return via Easley Rd to CCT and Anderson Park.  12-15 mph pace.  Elev gain: +907’  *Golden Triangle is Wheat Ridge, Golden, Arvada.

Tuesday, June 12th:

10:30 AM, MTB P2, T2-3 Mt. Falcon Park – west lot (Show’nGo) – Meet at the Mt. Falcon west (top) lot in Indian Hills. Trail info: https://www.jeffco.us/1332/Mount-Falcon-Park. THE DIRECTIONS: Going west on 285, take Indian Hills Parmalee Gulch exit. Follow Parmalee Gulch Road till just past Parmalee Gulch Park. Turn right on Picutis, follow till right turn on Nambe, then right turn on Mt. Falcon Road. THE FOOD: Mac Nation in Indian Hills (near the Indian Hills Post Office on Parmalee Gulch)

5:45 PM FUN PLUS H2-24-NW – Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) at Prospect Park for the OFFICIAL FIRST PROSPECT PARK EVENING RIDE!! Experience this classic DBTC ride on the trails of Clear Creek, Van Bibber, Blunn, and Ralston Creek! All riders will be awarded with a special surprise for their hard work! NOTE: If Jeff and Charlie can’t make it (they do have real jobs) it will be show and go. The trail is right there – go either way.


Wednesday, June 13th: 

9:00 AM Leisure H1-20 SE Meet Julie Brown, 303-988-5941 in the Parking Lot at Bible Park. (From Yale and Monaco, go east and turn south into the parking lot.) This is an out-and-back heading east on the Highline Canal. We will ride to Fairmount Cemetery to view some of the 59 varieties of heritage roses. Bring a snack and money for lunch after the ride. Please arrive early, as we will leave at the designated time.

9:30 AM FUN H2/H3-20 SW - Meet Susie Frakes (303-910-8206) in shopping center parking lot, just behind 7/11 store on Garrison and Ken Caryle @ 9:30 AM for a ride west through neighborhoods to Ken Caryle Ranch neighborhood and over to Deer Creek Canyon Road, then to Chatfield Dam and back through neighborhoods to start point. Optional Lunch afterward.

Friday, June 15th: 

Ice Cream Social in Frisco We will meet at the Summit Middle School for the various rides. After the ride you can grab some lunch at the BBQ on Main Street and then come back for ice cream from 1 to 4. From 1 to 4, you can bring a towel and swimsuit if you would like to enjoy the pool or hot tub. Car pool to Summit County: Anyone who wants to carpool to the school can meet at Stegosaurus Parking lot on the southeast side of I-70 and Morrison Road at 8:00 AM. This is a casual meetup point. If you run into traffic, call Kathy (719-671-5579) to let her know. 

10:00 AM Leisure/Roses H2-11 Frisco Meet Lin Hark at the Summit Middle School parking lot in Frisco. We will ride the multi-use trail around Lake Dillon to the Dillon Amphitheater, take a break and ride back. The ride is rolling hills with some short steep sections. Since this is an out and back route riders can do a shorter or longer version by turning back at any point. After the ride we will ride or drive to Joe and Kathy’s condo Clubhouse for the Ice Cream Social. 

10:00 AM MTB P2, T2, Multiple Trails near Breckenridge -- THE RIDE: Meet Steve Thomas (303-419-2531) for a ride on several of the interconnecting trails near Breckenridge. The ride will be approx. 13.5 miles with some extended climbing and a few somewhat technical downhill areas. THE TIME: Meet at the parking lot by the pond on Revett Drive at 10:00AM. THE DIRECTIONS: From Frisco go south on Hwy 9 towards Breckenridge. After the stop light at the turnoff to the High School and Swan Mtn . Rd., continue on Hwy 9 for 2.1 miles to the turnoff for Revett Dr, which will be to the left. Go left on Revett approx. 0.5 miles to the parking lot adjacent to a small pond. We will start and end the ride at this lot. THE FOOD: After the ride there will be the DBTC Ice Cream Social in Frisco and BBQ at the Frisco BBQ Challenge.

10:00 AM FUN-H2-25 Frisco to Keystone Meet Patty Gaspar at the Summit Middle School parking lot in Frisco. We will ride the multi-use trail around Lake Dillon via the Dam Road Trail. This is an out-and back, around the lake then out to Keystone, or as far as we want to go and back the same route. We are not going over Swan Mountain (though you can if you want). Once back, we can lock our bikes, change shoes, and head to Main Street for lunch at the Frisco BBQ. Then back to the bikes and head to Joe and Kathy Stommel’s for ice cream social @ 700 Meadow Creek Dr.

10:00 AM INT-H3-24-Frisco Meet Kathy Stommel (719-671-5579) at the Summit Middle School parking lot in Frisco. We will ride the multi-use trail around Lake Dillon toward Keystone. At Swan Mountain Road, we will continue to climb Swan Mountain, riding the bike path to the top. Then enjoy the fabulous downhill toward Frisco, completing a circle back to the middle school parking lot. Once back, you can secure your bikes, change shoes, and head to Main Street for lunch at the Frisco BBQ. Any time between 1-4pm, head to Joe and Kathy Stommel’s for ice cream social @ 700 Meadow Creek Dr. Bring along a swimsuit and towel if you’d like to enjoy the pool and hot tub. Directions to Summit Middle School, 158 School Rd, Frisco: Drive westbound from Denver on I-70 to Exit 203, and take the roundabout exit that leads south onto the bridge crossing I-70. Continue south on Summit Blvd. (Hwy 9) for .8 miles to the stoplight intersection of School Rd. & CR 1040. Turn left onto School Rd., and look for DBTC members in the parking lot. Directions to Lagoon Townhomes Clubhouse, 700 Meadow Creek Dr, Frisco: Drive westbound from Denver on I-70 to Exit 203, and take the roundabout exit that leads south onto the bridge crossing I-70. Continue south on Summit Blvd. (Hwy 9) for .5 miles to the stoplight intersection of Ten Mile Rd. (between Wendy’s and Taco Bell). Turn left onto Ten Mile Rd. for a short distance until a “T” intersection; stay right and then immediate left onto Meadow Creek Dr., and continue until the road ends in parking lot of Lagoon Townhomes. The clubhouse is across from the tennis court.

THIS RIDE IS NOW A SHOW AND GO FOR TODAY (ELLEN IS SICK)---1:00 PM INT-H1/2-15 to 20, SW - Brewery Ride to 38 State Brewery. Meet Ellen Chilikas (outdoorsdiva@yahoo.com) at Riverside Downs Park (2600 W Belleview Ave, Littleton, CO 80123) on the north west corner of Santa Fe and Prince near the Pedal bike shop in Littleton. Park on the far east side of the parking lot across from 24 Hour Fitness. We will ride south on the Platte and then east on the bike lane on Mineral. This is about 6 miles. On the way back, you can either return the same way or add 5-6 more miles by taking the unpaved Highline Canal to the Big Dry Creek trail. The brewery is celebrating their 4 year anniversary. They have the following beers on tap: IPA, Blonde, Belgian, Red, Brown, Rye and Barley. Leader will bring a bag of pretzels but there are also nearby restaurants. Please bring a bike lock and as always wear your helmet! Please be ready to ride by 1pm! Saturday, June 16th: 

8:00 AM FUN-H1-22-SE Juneteenth Five Points Ride (13th annual!) – Meet Gaar Potter (303-6910938) at Congress Park Pool (enter off of Josephine, one block north of 8th Ave.). We will meander north to the Five Points area. You will be pleased by the cool and early start, the quiet and shady streets, and the beautiful old houses. Then we sneak into Globeville Swansea and Elyria and return through Clayton, Park Hill, and City Park. Naturally, we will also drop by Riverside Cemetery.


Sunday, June 17th Father’s Day: 

8:30 AM FUN PLUS-H2-18/23-NW- Meet Jeff Krinsky (720-373-9107) for THE SPACE, TIME, 9/11 RIDE or THE HIDDEN GEMS OF BROOMFIELD! This special Father’s Day adventure begins near the SE corner of Sheridan and 120th at the new Whole Foods in Westminster (1/2 mile east of Sheridan at Vrain and 120th.) (4451 Main Street 303-439-7000) We will take secret trails around Broomfield where we will experience three incredible hidden displays including THE SOLAR SYSTEM, a brief history of GEOLOGIC COLORADO TIME, and a 9/11 MONUMENT. (This ride has an escape option at the 18 mile marker for riders who run out of time and/or steam.) Possible lunch afterwards at Whole Foods.

7:30 AM FUN PLUS (12-15 mph)-H3(1,311 gain)-31 NW “Golden Triangle* Progressive (no lollipop) Loop 3 of 3” Meet ride leader, Marilyn Choske (303-905-8510), at Anderson Park in Wheat Ridge, 44th & Field St., back parking lot. Ride west on Clear Creek Trail (CCT) to Golden with possible Starbucks stop, then retrace north on bikepath and Hwy 93 to 58th Ave. Connect to Ralston Creek Trail (RCT), over Blunn Reservoir, continue on RCT to CCT west to Anderson Park. 12-15mph pace. Climbs with fun, earned downhills! Elev gain: +1311” *Golden Triangle is Wheat Ridge, Golden, Arvada.

9:00 AM FUN-H1-20 SW Meet Wayne Tomasello (720-854-8767) at River Point Shopping area in front of HuHot Mongolian Grill. River Point Shopping Center, near Hampden Ave. and Santa Fe Dr. 3840 River Point Parkway, Sheridan, Colorado. https://goo.gl/maps/Lzhk8hHSLf72. The ride will go on the Platte River trail to Bowles and through the Columbine Country Club neighborhood to the Columbine High School and on to the Lilley Gulch trail. Then on Kipling to the Dutch Creek trail and loop back to the Platte River trail. The ride is on mostly paved bike trail with a little dirt road and on some quiet streets. After the ride an optional lunch at HuHot Mongolian Grill.


Tuesday, June 19th:

10:30 AM, MTB P2-3, T2-3  Elk Meadow Park (Show’nGo) – Meet in the Buchanan Recreation Center parking lot.  THE DIRECTIONS: Located at intersection of Colo Hwy 74 (Evergreen Parkway) and Squaw Pass (Colo Hwy 103).  From I-70: Take exit 252 for Evergreen Parkway. Continue for roughly 3 miles to intersection of 74 and 103. Turn left at traffic light; Buchanan Park rec center and Tuscany Tavern are located in this complex adjacent to the softball fields.  From downtown Evergreen, follow Hwy  74 up to intersection of 74 and 103.  Or load directions to 32003 Ellingwood Trail, Evergreen 80439.  THE FOOD:  Tuscany Tavern. 


Wednesday, June 20th:

9:00 AM FUN PLUS (12-15 mph avg)-24-26 Arrive early to join Linda Wheeler (419-973-8282) at 5340 Coffee (6474 Ward Rd, Arvada) for a cup of coffee before riding parts of the Ralston Creek Trail and Clear Creek Trails.  

9:00 AM Leisure H1-14 W Join Richard Gieseler for a leisurely paced ride along the new trail in Clear Creek Canyon. Meet at 9 AM at the furniture row NW of Kipling and 6th Avenue Parkway to carpool to Mayhem Gulch Parking Lot. This is a beautiful ride in the foothills on the new trail which opened last year. We will ride the short new section which opened this year and then the entire length of the new canyon trail. Last year we saw climbers, rafters, and others enjoying this gorgeous area just west of Golden. Optional lunch after the ride.


6:00 pm, MTB, Bear Creek Park (Show’nGo) -- Meet at the fisherman’s parking lot on Fox Hollow Lane which winds through Fox Hollow Golf Course.  DIRECTIONS:  From South Kipling Parkway go west on Morrison Road about a half mile to South Owens Lane.  Go south on Owens and take an immediate right onto Fox Hollow Lane.  Continue past the Fox Hollow Golf Course clubhouse for 0.2 mile.  The fisherman’s parking lot is on the left. 


Thursday, June 21st: 

6:00 PM FUN-H1-18 SE Meet Dick Shelton (720-934-9824) at Treads Bicycle Outfitters, 16701 E Iliff Ave, Aurora, 80013.  We’ll ride around Cherry Creek State Park and return to Peak to Peak Brewery for snacks and drinks. 

Friday, June 22nd: 

9:00 AM INT-H2/3-15 to 20 SW - Brewery Ride AND FREE BREWERY TOUR at Breckenridge Brewery in Littleton. We will leave from the restaurant entrance and do a hilly loop up the Chatfield Dam and through Ken Caryl ranch. 10:00 AM, MTB P3, T2, Centennial Cone  -- THE RIDE: Meet Chuck Caldwell (303-807-1562) at the north parking lot of Centennial Cone. The loop is around 12-14 miles. Online description at http://jeffco. us/open-space/parks/centennial-cone-park/ . THE TIME: 10:00AM (WHEELS ROLLING! PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY ENOUGH TO START AT THAT TIME.) THE DIRECTIONS: To find the parking lot, google “Centennial Cone North Trailhead, 3956 Camino Perdido, Golden, CO 80403.” Or follow these directions: Take Colorado Hwy. 93 north from Golden approximately one mile to Golden Gate Canyon Rd. Travel west about 8 miles to Robinson Hill Rd. Turn left and continue to Camino Perdido, the north access road into the park. The trailhead is approximately one mile to the south. THE FOOD: Bring food and drink for a picnic lunch afterward in the Centennial Cone parking lot. Remember your folding chair!


6:00 pm, MTB, Bear Creek Park (Show’nGo) -- Meet at the fisherman’s parking lot on Fox Hollow Lane which winds through Fox Hollow Golf Course.  DIRECTIONS:  From South Kipling Parkway go west on Morrison Road about a half mile to South Owens Lane.  Go south on Owens and take an immediate right onto Fox Hollow Lane.  Continue past the Fox Hollow Golf Course clubhouse for 0.2 mile.  The fisherman’s parking lot is on the left.

Saturday, June 23rd: 

9:30 AM FUN-H2/H3-25 or 35 SW  Meet Patty Gaspar (303-618-5069) behind the McDonald’s at Sheridan and Hampden. We’ll head to the Tech Center on various trails. We have to climb some hills and there are sections on the Highline Canal (pea gravel), and then we’ll have our morning latte and loop back to Bear Valley. It is a beautiful ride and we get have a wonderful downhill back to Bear Valley. Lunch is in Bear Valley.


Sunday, June 24th: 

9:30 AM FUN-H2-22-SW Meet Bob Shedd (720-290-6014) at the RTD Littleton Downtown Station, in the northwest quadrant of the parking lot located at Alamo Avenue & Prince Street.  Ride will go south and west on the paved Dutch Creek Path and side streets that Bob has scouted in the Columbine and Ken Caryl areas, and includes a climb up to the dam at Chatfield State Park. Optional lunch afterward at Merle’s Restaurant on Main Street, within 3 blocks of the starting location.

Monday, June 25th: 

9:00 AM FUN-H1-23 NW Meet Wayne Tomasello (720-854-8767) at Gold Strike Park for a ride on the Ralston Creek path to Easley Rd to Clear Creek path back to Ralston Creek path. Directions to the start: From I-70 take Sheridan Blvd to Ralston Rd. Turn left onto Ralston Rd and go to the next left turn onto W 56th Ave. The park is on the left in about 300 feet. An optional lunch is at Beau Jo’s. 


Tuesday, June 26th: 

9:15AM FUN–H2–22-ish–NE --  Meet Lise Neer (303-249-8621) at Cake Crumbs bakery (2216 Kearney St. in Park Hill). Ride will either go south on Krameria Street to the Cherry Creek trail, then southeast to join the Highline and loop back around Lowry (either thru Fairmount Cem. or farther East) and return to Park Hill along 17th Ave., part of which is newly paved!  OR: we’ll ride East to Stapleton, south to Lowry and get on the Highline Canal Trail until we hit the Cherry Creek trail. We may ride all the way downtown to REI for a snack stop, or head back north to Park Hill via Krameria or Steele St.  (Ride route & length will vary depending on the group’s whims.)  Optional lunch afterward at Cake Crumbs, or the Chop Shop at Colfax & Elm.  Come early for coffee, and be ready to ride by 9:15 sharp. 

10:30 AM, MTB P2,T2  Alderfers/Three Sisters Park (Show’nGo) -- Trails to be ridden will be decided by the group that day.  THE DIRECTIONS: Go to the signalized “T” intersection in downtown Evergreen, then south on Hwy 73 for ½ mile to another signal at Buffalo Park Road. Turn right (west) for 2.2 miles and enter the upper Alderfer parking lot just beyond the bright yellow house in the meadow.   THE FOOD:  Keys on the Green (restaurant in the Evergreen Golf Course clubhouse).    


Wednesday, June 27th: 

9:00 or 9:30 AM Bike To Work Day FUN-H2-25 Central  BIKE TO WORK DAY Meet Patty Gaspar 303-618-5069 at 9 at Civic Center by the DBTC Booth at Bike to Work Day. Come early to get free food from vendors and check out the other booths. You can take light rail or the bus downtown. Or meet us at 9:30 (TEXT OR CALL ME SO I KNOW YOU ARE THERE) at the foot of the pedestrian bridge over the highway (it is halfway between the City of Cuernavaca Park and REI on the north side – there is a big red sculpture there). You can park at the park. We will head out on Tejon to 31st then to down to Sloans Lake and out Crown Hill then take Clear Creek Trail and follow the trails back to REI. We will be ready for lunch afterwards. 

9:00 AM Leisure  H1-15-20 SE area through Parker Meet Jean Stevenson (mobile 303-349-1596) at the Broncos Parkway trailhead parking lot located between Jordan Rd and Parker Rd near Tagawa Gardens.  We will ride south on the Cherry Creek Trail at a leisurely pace as far as the group determines up to 10 miles one way. Since this is an out and back route, riders can do a shorter or longer version by turning back at any point or waiting on a bench for the returning group. Optional lunch after. Please arrive early so we can leave on time. 


Thursday, June 28th:

Friday, June 29th: 1:00 PM INT-H1/2-15 to 20  SW - Brewery Ride to Green Mountain Beer Company. Meet Ellen Chilikas (outdoorsdiva@yahoo.com) at Riverside Downs Park (2600 W Belleview Ave, Littleton, CO 80123) on the north west corner of Santa Fe and Prince near the Pedal bike shop in Littleton. Park on the far east side of the parking lot across from 24 Hour Fitness. We will ride north on the Platte, west on the Bear Creek trail, and then north on the sidewalk along S. Kipling Pkwy to the brewery.  This brewery specializes in American and European style beers and last year they opened an hour early for us!  The brewery also has a popcorn machine. Leader will bring a bag of pretzels but there are also nearby restaurants. Please bring a bike lock and as always wear your helmet! Please be ready to ride by 1pm!  THIS IS A FAIR WEATHER RIDE - temps must be 50 with dry pavement for the ride to be a go.   


Saturday, June 30th: 

9:00 AM INT Show and Go Village Green Park (Dayton and the Dam Road) Mileage and pace determined by riders. OR you can post a ride on the MeetUp and/or Yahoo group.  

9:30 AM FUN Plus-H3-25 +-NW Boulder Ride Meet Rick Clauder & Nancy Rassbach at Scott Carpenter Park 1505 30th St Boulder, Colorado 80303. This park is just a short distance from US 36 and Arapaho. We will lead a ride on our tandem east on Boulder Creek trail joining Valmont Rd to 75th St climbing to the top of Outlook Rd then down to scenic Niwot. We will stop for coffee in Niwot returning to Boulder. We will return on the diagonal until Jay Rd on Valmont Rd and Boulder path. Those of you that choose will join us to eat at the Pearl St Mall on our bikes west on Boulder Creek trail. All riding will be on bike paths or roads with bike lane except for the short descent into Niwot. 


Monday, July 2nd: 

9:00 AM FUN-H1-30 SE Meet Wayne Tomasello (720-854-8767) at Challenger Park on Lincoln Ave. near Jordan Rd. for a ride on the Cherry Creek Trail, south to Franktown and back. Most of this ride in on paved bike trails with some dirt road riding. An optional lunch after the ride is at Cherry Village Asian Grill.

Tuesday, July 3rd: 9:15AM FUN–H2–22-ish–NE

Ride Meet Linda Wheeler behind Beau Jos for a ride to Georgetown. We’ll celebrate the 4th (and maybe find an ice cream shop while we are at it) and any gonzos are welcome to continue up the hill toward Silver Plume. As a reward for your climb up to Georgetown, you can coast back to Idaho Springs. Lunch in Idaho Springs.
